Government Procurement

Government Procurement Consulting is confidential access to expert business advice for small businesses that are interested in doing business with local, state or federal government agencies. The Inland Empire Small Business Development Center has a Consultant who specializes in helping clients with the government procurement process.

NEW SERVICE
The SBDC is now offering Online Consulting for some government procurement functions, such as certification assistance. This service is designed to be flexible yet similar to the traditional office-based consulting experience.

To initiate this new service, please complete the Request for Online Government Procurement Consulting form. After submitting the form, you will be contacted by the Government Procurement Consultant.

International Trade

The primary goals of the International Trade program are to increase the number of Inland Empire companies exporting and to increase the volume of California exports. As part of its mission to increase jobs in the Inland Empire, the International Trade program assists businesses in their efforts to introduce and sell their products and services internationally.

The International Trade program provides international business expertise to promote Inland Empire products and services in world markets. Export counseling, marketing assistance, educational seminars, international market information, and market planning programs are typical of the services provided to Inland Empire businesses that are interested in pursuing foreign sales opportunities. Some of the services provided by the International Trade program are:

One-on-One Export Marketing and Consulting
The International Trade manager, with extensive private sector experience, is available to provide consultations and marketing assistance to Inland Empire businesses.

Trade Delegations
The International Trade program hosts foreign trade delegations and arranges meetings between local firms and these potential foreign buyers.

Trade Shows
The International Trade program coordinates the participation of Inland Empire firms in foreign trade shows. By participating in these marketing opportunities, Inland Empire companies are introduced to potential foreign buyers.

International InfoCenter
An international trade research library, which contains a system of on-line computer databases, provides Inland Empire companies with foreign trade and market data and export information assistance.
